Free CPR Classes for In-District Residents
Sequoia Healthcare District provides free CPR classes for in-District residents to learn Infant and Adult CPR. We encourage you to visit the Locate My District tool prior to registering to ensure eligibility. Get hands-on experience using the American Heart Association’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique in a dynamic group environment. Classes are designed for those who want to learn CPR but do not need a certified course completion card.
*Out-of-district resident fee is $20.
NOTE: We are currently not offering CPR classes. Please check back soon. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit the American Red Cross website to schedule a training.
LifeSaving Medical Equipment
Sequoia Healthcare District has placed life-saving equipment in public locations for access by the public in emergencies. These include more than 300 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and 14 Lucas Device CPR machines provided to local fire departments and law enforcement vehicles.
Teen Screenings
Sequoia Healthcare District partners with Via Heart Project to help provide annual teen heart screenings in local high schools.
