This was the second Town Hall meeting in Sequoia Healthcare District’s Disaster Preparedness series. This event featured Jonathan Cox, Deputy Fire Chief, CAL FIRE San Mateo Division, and Barbara Wood, American Red Cross volunteer. Supervisor Carole Groom, San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, moderated the discussion.

Building Community Resilience
Sequoia Healthcare District hosted a Virtual Town Hall meeting with Sandra Firpo, Emergency Services Specialist / CERT Program Manager for the San Mateo Consolidated Fire Department, and Barbara Wood, Red Cross Disaster Responder. Sandra and Barbara shared stories about their work in the field, and gave timely and relevant advice on how you could better prepare yourself and your family in the event of a disaster.
